Brand Jordan was interested in capturing and honoring the legendary basketball player Maya Moore, through an impactfully placed powerful out-of-home campaign. The brand wanted to secure a location central to the downtown area of Minneapolis and in close proximity to Target Center, where the Lynx play and during the home opener as she received her 4th championship ring.
After investigating traditional OOH media in the market, we determined that we needed to think outside of the box. Traditional out-of-home inventory in the target area was not epic enough to capture the impact that Maya has made in Minneapolis. This led us to work with local building owners, in order to create our own short-term, OOH space to honor Maya Moore.
Located within a few blocks from the arena, the Maya Moore “Wings” wall replicated Michael Jordan’s famous pose, while also garnering social media attention. The 2-day placement was picked up by local news outlets & received national attention.
