The company was founded by Paolo Cerrato following a fifteen-year career as manager for two important international media groups: Cia Media network, part of WPP Group, and McCann-Erikson. He strongly believed in an alternative model of media agency and decided to set up his own, characterized by its optimal size (not too big), independence, professional expertise, high level of service and personalized service.
personalmedia was founded in 2008 and in few years has become the first independent media agency in Italy. It managed a budget of 30 million euros in 2016 and has 25 employees working in 3 offices (Turin, Milan, Genoa). The agency has about 25 clients operating in different industries – food and beverages, fashion, energy, finance, accessories and jewellery.
The agency’s share of activity (media planning and buying) is 50% offline and 50% digital.
It is specialized in direct response activity and lead generation campaigns.
